I measure 10.5 US narrow (Branock) - 10UK often loose (to much volume). Ordered the 44/11US - my foot is totally scrunched in the booty. Contraction/concept looks good. Trek - know your product and provide decent sizing guidance. We all expect trial and error whe ordering over the web. Sizing on these is pure error - not even in the neighborhood. Waste of your time and mine.

Comments:
I have had the shoe for 2 months in a variety of conditions all of which the shoe excelled in. My foot stayed dry in puddles and pouring rain. This week was -8F and with liner sock, baggie and thick wool sock with toe heater insert my toes did not freeze ! With the liner booty your foot has room to wiggle and stay warm. I love it as it feels like a mtb shoe and not a big hiking boot. I do not like other high ankle straps and stiff boots as it restricts my foot movement for balance. It feels comfortable to be able to jump off and run around obstacles. Other winter boots are hard to walk in, these are flexible and do not restrict your movement. If you are riding the Arrowhead, maybe the 45north is a better option but for ripping single track snow trails I could not be happier. Also, you can keep the spd cleat centered so that there is less stress on your knees and hips. Other winter boots have you move the cleat more outside so your boot does not hit the crank. The sizing is off, I wear a us 11 shoe but went with a size 46. After a ride it is great to walk around in the warm booties.
